Your evening begins with outstanding dining in an authentic Chinese restaurant.

Then it's off to see the glitter and sparkle of San Francisco's Chinatown. Discover the mystery and history of one of the largest Chinese communities outside of Asia. Take a guided walking tour of unique Grant Avenue and explore Chinese markets, restaurants, theaters, herb shops, temples, a fortune cookie factory and more - weather permitting. Walking shoes are recommended.
Drive past the glittering lights of Fisherman's Wharf and view Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower, the Broadway Strip, and the historic Ferry Building. Cross the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island and savor a breathtaking view of the City by night before returning to your hotel.

Then continue on to Muir Woods for a leisurely stroll (approx. 1 hour) through this beautiful 550-acre National Monument to see 800-year-old trees that rise 300 feet or more.
Stop in the Mediterranean-like village of Sausalito and then return to your hotel, or stay and enjoy more of Sausalito and return to San Francisco on your own via ferryboat.

The ferry ticket is not included in the price of the tour and may be purchased for an additional fee of $7.00

Our route down Highway 1 through Santa Cruz features one spectacular view after another. Scheduled stops include Steinbeck's Cannery Row where time will afford a visit to the famous Monterey Aquarium with an array of ocean life. Vista points along 17-Mile Drive and the art gallery/restaurant district of Carmel where the journey home will start

Start your day by heading north into the world renowned Napa Valley aboard a comfortable air-conditioned motorcoach. Enjoy relaxed elegance, artfully prepared cuisine and world class wines aboard luxury dining cars gliding gently past California's famous vineyards. Complimentary wine tasting is available in the tasting car.

Yosemite's glacier-carved grandeur waits us in the Sierra Nevada mountains to the east. Our stay will include both a guided tour of its majesty, as well as time on your own for the hiking, shopping and dinning in Yosemite Village.
The return trip to San Francisco affords time to reflect, as we follow the sun west to its setting over the Pacific

Experience the perfect day trip from San Francisco to majestic Yosemite National Park by taking Amtrak's San Joaquin train and its luxury motorcoach connection.
